high-efficiency heat pump can be added onto your present fossil fuel
furnace.
Only during the very coldest times of the year will your existing furnace need to "kick in." You will gain top-efficiency from both units plus the comfort of central air in summer months.

- Geothermal heat pumps may be a little more expensive to install, but they are the most efficient to operate and have the highest consumer satisfaction rating of all heat sources as well as air conditioning options:

receive a rebate:
- Consumers
must contact the REMC before
installation
of an add-on pump system takes place. - We will register the consumer for the program and make arrangements to inspect the system and award the rebate after installation is complete.
- You must be an REMC member to participate.
- Heat pump must
be a 14 SEER or higher.
